try searching with L723A (leave off the 825). Do a search in google too. There is a lot of info on this batch

Here are my initial results so far. I havent even cleared the BIOS from my previous E6600 that was in the motherboard, i'm also using BIOS 311 (ASUS says its not compatable, but CPU is reconized and everything seems great so far, so why FLASH!!??)

Like I said earlier, I didnt even reset the BIOS from the E6600 that was in the board prior to this Q6600, so on initial startup, the board posted with 411FSB X9 multi = 3.71GHz using 1.43V......So far this L723A seems like a GREAT chip. Just sitting here typing this Core temp reads
31
31
31
30

I did lap the chip, and I beilive I did a good job as temps are pretty much even across the cores. Going to find a stress program to test now. I'll report back in a few

Those temps are extremely low for 3.71ghz!

54

Room is a toasty 27c (it is 101F here in atlanta)
This was using 412x9 1.4325Vcore on my P5K-DLX

Seth,

Nice chip! I'm assuming you have it under a Keg? If so those results speak volumes about the Kegs performance.

Seth,

Definitely a nice cool running Q. I can't wait to get home next week so I can start playing with a few of the new QX's. :) Will let you know how that turns out.

Well, I can't believe how good this chip is. I come upstairs this morning just to check the temps as I left this PC on all night, and come to find out this (room ambient is 18.6c)
