Flowers the g/f has planted along side the house.
done with a Lumix FZ5 w/ macro setting. @ ISO 80
some had to be zoomed in a little to get so close as i couldnt get the camera that close using my tripid.
(but still thank god for the anti-shake mechanism)
the Cleome was the worst of them as it stick up in the air a was on a rather long stem.

it was also a bit windy so i tried to pick the best out of the shots. but the flowers were moving back and forth.

i should have taken them in a larger resolution and then resized them as that has a tendancy to really crispen the pictures.
oh well, next time.

the Fz5 isnt anything special but it has a good zoom and image stabalizer.
but it has some serious noise issues even at iso 80. but im picky like that, maybe its not noise maybe its just me i dont know.

here is a real quick and sloppy HDR rendering of one of the pictures.

Very nice! I love the macro on my little 5MP Sony...especially for snapping pics of flowers. Great shots.

If you had a nice macro lens the first shot of
Cleome could be really awesome.

Not enuf bokeh :(

Still, really nice shot with the equipment you are working with.

nice one magnj

what did you do to get the white background

aside from the one that i have listed as a crpapy HDR photochop
none of my photos are dr'd.
i see yours has been, but none the less its nice.

i wouldnt have blurred the front pedal on the flower, have as much of the flower or atleast the pedals at the front of the picture crisp and in focus. the rest can be blurred or fuzzy.
