I need a new mobo for my Northwood based rig (1.6a, Antec TruePower 430W, Leadtek GF4 TI4400, CoolerMaster210,Mushkin pc3000 256mb) , i have possibility to get one of Abit socket 478 newest boards (IT7&BD7-II)

Both seem to have great features (especially the IT7 which full with them ), but i care more about the OC potencial - i just want to take the board which will give me better OC options and abillity- which one of the this two would fill this requitments?

P.S- i heard that the 3:4 ratio is missing in the IT7, is it true?
and what is the highest vcore in the BD7-II? 1.725?

Thanks

about the 3:4 ratio, it is available, but you have to set cpu to low to get it, about the rest: i don't know. I have an it-7 myself and it oc's well for me.

IT7 is the hot Idem. It's a better mobo then the BD7. It overclocks great.

The IT7 is the best motherboard at the moment! It's just awesome!

I Had a Th7 2! And it's not bad! But Rambus is not as stable as ddr! I had many stability Problems, even when i was running @ default speed! I do not know if it was only a bad board or bad memory, but it was very unstable!
Now i Own a IT7 and some applications are even faster then with ramĀ“bus, p.e Seti is running much faster than with rambus!
And the most important point, it is so stable, after buying these board with ddr, i haven't had a freeze or something!
And if you overclock the memory, it is almost as fast as rambus!
