I have got a new p5k deluxe.

my memory is QUAD2X4096-6400C5DHX G,My problem is with using all 4 dimm sockets,I can only use 2 gb on the channel b and not the channel a

On channel b I can boot up to using vista 32 bit ok,using just 2 gb of memory, channel a just hangs no boot.

I have checked all 4 sticjs of memory in channel a,and channel b there ore all ok.

Now is that the black dimms or the yellow dimms you are referring to? Because on the P5K Deluxe the black dimms perform ALOT better than the yellow, and take less voltage and can run super crazy timings.

The dimms are the yellow and black dimms on the left hand side of the mob,That i am having problem with.,When using 2x 1gb of memory.

I have no problems with the right hand side yellow and black dims,That work fine with When using 2x 1gb of memory.

I want to use 4gb of memory with this mobo, but at the moment only 2 gb of memory.

How do you check the dimms.

Could this to be with a bios issue:confused:
