Hey guys...

Are there any NB Block's compatible with it?
Im getting the board soon, and I feel like WC'ing the NB :p:  ...

By the looks of it, It doesnt seem like an MCW30, would mount onto it? 2 Screw holes look quite far apart. Although, I have mailed Swiftech asking if it is compatible.

Heres a pic..

Cooling the upper Mosfet with some Air cooling is an issue too, it doesnt look like its compatible with the HR-09... :/..

Regards,
Ad1tya.

^^ You'd void your warranty then..

Has any1 on this Forum WC'ed the NB of the mobo?!?!

now correct me if im wrong, but im almost sure a MCW30 will fit on it. It fit on the gigabyte, it fits on the ASUS. The entire heat pipes your going to have to remove. Goto petrastechshop, and pick up an Enzo south bridge heat sink. That should fit nicely over the south bridge, and it wont require a lot of cooling, because the SB doesnt play any role in overclocking.

The mosfet area, i use microcool's mosfet sinks. You can buy them also at petras fairly cheap.

have you tried pulling the heat pipe out? On the asus, there not Welded. Its more glue'd on so the heat pipes slide right out. Thats how i got the mosfet coolers to stay in place, while i removed everything else on my P5K-E

Eddie told me the NF4 rev 1.1 will work on this board, I don't have any first hand expierence as I don't have the block or board yet though. But I thinks he's a pretty reliable source:) . And of course the MCW30 should work too. If you don't mind voiding your warranty you could just saw off the heatpipes, they do just about nothing anyway.

Wont saw off the Heatpipes.. Dont wanna Void warranty!

Ill wait for Swiftech's reply too :)..

You remove the heatpipe structure. I am sure that MCW30s will work on both the NB and SB. And I do not speak for Swiftech. I would use an Alphacool Heat Trap mosfet block designed for Abit spacing.

Save the heatpipe structure and you can remount it if you need to RMA the mobo.

MIPS makes a waterblock specifically for the the IP35 mosfets, it seems.

dunno how much it costs to ship to india, but last time I got a quote for a mosfet block for my abit it ended being a total of $88, for a mosfet block. You can try modifying an HR-09.

I really dont want to WaterCool the Mosfet's. Specially because the IP35's are cooler to start with, since it doesnt have a "Digital PWM"...

Ill try to get on a lot of these > http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/mimoch.html or maybe just Swiftech RAMSinks (http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/swmcbgamera.html) and have a fan running over them.

Ill use a HR-09 on the SB.

Sound good?

Alphacool Heat Trap Abit-only spacing.

Universal spacing version that I don't recommend.

That abit one is for the A8N series, its about 20mm too long, the universal spacing one will fit but you have to use AS5 or ceramique adhesive.

you say that swiftech and ek do.. but why dont i see em?

the swiftech model doesnt have the p35 pro on there list of compatible mb's

and as in for the ek.. which one will work for this case?

The p35 chipset is new, don't count on heatsink and waterblock compatability references to keep up to date.. Some companies are better than others in this regard though.

NF4 rev1.1 EK will work, straight from eddies mouth. And the MCW30 will work I've seen someone around here with it on the board.

Are the dimensions of the Abit QuadGT's pwm cooler the same as the IP35's? From the looks of it, it is, and the HR-09 is compatible with the QuadGT IIRC

That would be nice. Hopefully someone can confirm this.
