I have a quick question for you guys about tubing and the accessories that give 90 degree bends. First of all i use 1/2" ID tubing and was looking for a way to get some 90 degree tubing accessories to make things look a little nicer.

1. Will 90 degree bends have a huge affect on the cooling ability of my loop?
ATM is just rez>pump>120.3>cpu
2. Is having a 90 degree bend right at the inlet to the pump a really bad idea?
3. Where can i get these 90 degree bends. I see on Petra's shop they have some plastic ones, but i think i wan metal ones.

Thanks for the replies in advance.

1. 1 90degree angle equals 1 foot of extra tubing
2. yes imo
3. you can find metal 90 degree bends from shops that sells pluming stuff.. so im pretty sure that you can find those locally.

The best 90degree fitting is actaully the copper piping that has a gentle curve to it.

I tested 90 degree elbows in Watercooling Myth #5 (3/4 of the way down the article), with the following results here:

Hope this helps,

right. the added lip of the barb is only of minimal concern with fittings, its the "wall" that the water hits to then get re-routed in another direction that is bad.
