hi!
i am planning to get a MBP 15' with 2.2ghz cpu next month thats why i'm asking ^_^
1. any good review to read? what i need to know is the battery life in diferent modes (surfing the net, listening to music, watching movies etc) and some benchmarks (in-game performance between the 2.2 and 2.4ghz models with 8600gt 128mb and 256mb respectively)
2. which drive to go with? is the 7200 160gb one the best choice? how is the noise, battery life compared to 5400 160gb model?
3. is the videocard soldered or is it mxm? if mxm than which type?
4. is cpu soldered? will an ulv cpu work?

and also looking for some inside pics, pics of the cooling etc. measurements welcomed -_+

tnks!

The video card and the CPU are both BGA. The laptop is absolutely awesome. You'll get about 4 or 4.5 hours of battery. Good luck getting one however, the LED screens have been much harder for Apple to come by then they anticipated.

upgradability and macs dont really go hand in hand now do they?
not even my Powermac G5 had hardly any options for hardware upgrades.

What kind of hardware upgrades were you looking for?

PowerPC 970MP chips?
