Heh yah Im wondering why so many people are using this block designed for the north bridge on the south bridge aka MCP.

Whats the deal?

Does it even mount properly?

If you check my worklog thread you'll see that I use an EK NF4 1.1 block on my SB: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=150496&highlight=ranker+horizon+work

ah yes the NF4... I have just been keeping track of so many blocks lately that I forgot which one went on the MCP SB on this board we both have.

Hey would you be kind enough to post some pictures of how you mounted it if they are not already in the worklog thread.

clone38,

Thank you very much sir.

Would you be kind enough to post another shot of this picture, but in a different angle where I can see the block mounted on the MCP or Southbridge while those cards are plugged in for visual confirmation of the compatibility ?

Thanks!!

That is one of the rudist things I've seen posted here.
The guy goes out of his way to post pics for you and that's your response.

What!! saying thank you is considered rude here? since when...

Im not sure if you are unable to read my post, but again all I said was thank you and would you be kind enough to post another shot of this picture in a different angle so I can see how the block is in fact compatible with the cards in SLI.... what part of this is rude now.... or did you not read the whole post... please do enlighten me here..

EDIT: P.s I said the word "Thank and Thanks" thus being thankful twice in the same post.... oh and if you actually bothered reading the other posts in this thread you would know I am looking to see if the EK blocks can be put on the MCP aka SB while being SLI compatible... hence my very last post was asking to see just that at a different angle.... It helps reading posts which you obviously did not do or bother to do carefully.

cmon, give him a break. i can understand maybe hes trying to route out tubing. rewording the question would've been better, eg: can i get a shot of how much clearance there is between the SB barbs and cards?

Yah Ill admit I could have reworded the question like that but it would still be asking the_same_thing, I mean is it going to mean anything different.... if it does, then Jedda needs to enlighten me on how it can mean anything rude. :confused2

P.S. this all going :off:

sorry for the double post but I feel to make Jedda happy I need to apologize to clone38 for stating anything the slightest bit being viewed as "rude" (which I have yet to see anywhere I did that in my posts)

clone38 I am deeply sorry for my posts being expressed in any bit as being "rude"

What no need to apologize m8 im fine with what you said :)
That was my old setup,it`s changed now but i can tell you with the soundcard you cannot use the blue pcie slot and you cannot use the bottom slot if you have sli.
Here is a piccy of both loops setup.

Thanks a lot.. I appreciate it very much. I just was wondering if you were able to take another picture if you dont have one already from the angle where your radiator is mounted... I guess you would have to move the radiator out of the way to do that... you dont have to but I would very grateful to you if you could get that picture... clearance is the issue I am afraid of with 2 cards in SLI and that EK NF4 block there could be issues with 1/2" ID x 3/4" OD tubing.

I can see the DD 680i block has no issues with the SLI setup but I cannot really see the EK NF4rev.1.1 block, hence my request of you if you could kindly take another picture in the other angle or better yet a top view would work as long as I can see you did not have any clearance issues, that is all that matters and I would again be very grateful to you.

What tubing are you using there?

P.s. to everyone (including Jedda) lets try and keep this thread on topic now that clone38 has made it clear that I was never rude...
