Two days ago, me and shark-357 made some tests with QX6850, and i can tell you that, that CPU is really awesome  If we have more time we could run SuperPI 1Mb at 5300Mhz.

We run 3D Mark 2001 @ 5150Mhz with no problem and stock HD2900XT.

Wow! 9.766 1M! That is fast, especially with a quad.

How much vcore at that level of cooling to get there?

I am unshure why any one would use 3DMARKS 01 to stress a machine on todays hardware ,if you really want to show us your ewang stress the high overclock with 3dmarks 06 or gtfoh k-go>

BTW sounds like a good solid chip>

Or it could be because that is the least likely of the 3D mark series that would crash/lock up

Still a nice job, LittleDevil.

Might it be because it's one off the hardest 3dmarks to cheat on, and the one showing the most effect from system changes?

Edit: Excellent chip! Did you run cinebench btw?

any chance you'll do a 8 hour run of prime95 (quad core version) (ftp://mersenne.org/gimps/P95V253.ZIP) or orthos?
