Asus Blitz Extreme DDR2/DDR3 or just DDR3

Hi all


Please could some one please clear this up for me?

Asus Blitz Extreme is it DDR2/DDR3 or just DDR3 which i believed it to be, I was looking to order one from scan after read the specs (http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=635523) they have it down for beginning DDR2/DDR3 motherboard,

So i emailed them and also sent the link to the Asus website (http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=3&l2=117&l3=0&l4=0&model=1689&modelmenu=1) which says the motherboard is DDR3.

I just had a reply back from my email from scan and they replied:

Thank you for your email,

Having checked with our website department and our purchasing team I have been advised our website is correct and it does work with DDR2 and DDR3.

Blitz Extreme is just DDR3 and Blitz Formula manage DDR2
