If this has been seen then kill this thread but...

Thermalright put some 8mm heatpipes on a si-128... Im comparing fan type and speed and it looks good.

One Fan at one speed, then compare two coolers on the same system and ambients... HSF reviewers really have to tack down this method.

Still it seems to have same kind of mounting than the Ultra 120. Meaning you can wiggle the cooler when it's mounted. I really wish they could come up with a mounting that has enough pressure to keep the cooler seated tight.

looks like the same new mount as the HR-01 Plus, I wonder when we can get one of those for those of us with ghetto improved Ultra-120X mounts

Humm Its looks decent, plus the Mobo components and the ram gets cooled as well.

My Enzotech is on the way from Performance-PCs.

The mounting system looks the same as what comes with the IFX-14, even has the little space for the backend cooler.

The Enzotech's cooling capacity has been conquered by my Q6600....3.8ghz 422x9 1.575v..Simply will not produce any further, runs 3.6 400x9 1.475 at around 55C idle, 68 load.

From the reviews, it seems it is that way for the AMD systems, but the Intel systems are real tight.

Those Quads are hot mothers...that's ok though, E6850 G0 is what I'll be running.

The only thing I see different from my regular SI-128 are the added holes in the fins and a nicer mounting system. Am I missing something?

I have both. The only difference besides the perforations in the fins and the new mounting system you mentioned is they added a few fins. Maybe something like 6 or so. Pipes are the same diameter.

Its nice to see thermalright revamping their entire line but i still find the SI 128 a bit expensive.

At least from the places that i've seen sell the cooler.
