They are a blast to use, I have a couple of 1/8 scale 4 wheel drive buggy's that absolutley fly. They sound like a miniture formula car. If memory serves I think I have approx. $750.00 into each car. So their not cheap by any means, especially with all the other equpiment you end up purchasing. I think I have used these a total of six times and are as new condition, if your interested let me know.

I used to love RC trucks. I had a savage with a serio engine in it (cant remember the HP, but it cost me just shy of 600.00 for the engine back in 2004) I bought an all aluminum 3 speed automatic trans for it, and upgraded all gears to aluminum (sper gear and all internal tranny gears were aluminum, as I get pissed from rounding off gears) truck did around 60MPh or so, and had so much torque that you had to accelerate slow at first so the truck would lift the front end up. I have a video of this truck jumping a houses' roof from a ramp that I made, and absolutely crashed on landing, was funny as hell. Damn near broke my 1100 RC truck. I found that running with 30% nitro fuel was much better, but went through glow plugs like they were water!. Those were the days!!!!!

Great pics. You can see the photographer adjusting the F Stop settings. It appears that 1/1600 sec F7.1 and ISO400 is the sweet spot. F8 was just too dark.
