Just checked my idle and load temps...19C idle, 35C load. Swiftech 320 radiator, swiftech apogee GT block, radiator on the bottom of my Stacker T01

Nice job, maybe i could do something like this in my stacker.

are you taking these temp readings using coretemp? Your temps just dont sound accurate. Like the above poster said, unless your ambient room temps are in the 9c-13c-ish I wouldn't trust your temp readings.

*edit* Forgot to tell you HOW GREAT YOUR SETUP LOOKS, very nice job cutting out the rad mount!

To give you a comparison.
I have the apoggee gt and the mcr220 radiator.
I am getting 26-28c idle and 43c load with a D5 pump.
I added in a mcw60 and it went up to 29-30c idle.
So 7c drop from going to a mcw220 to a 320.
Thats really fantastic!

ambient was about 70F...before last night ambient was in the 80s ><

right now ambient is close to 80 and coretemp reads 22C and 23C and this was after 30 min of gaming.

all temps were with coretemp...and no I don't understand why the temp is lower than ambient lol

well with that information its clear that some sensor has gone crazy. But either way, it looks like you got some good temps.

OK your temps are totally screwed up. But your setup is amaamamamzing~!

Try "enabling" the setting PECI in your BIOS, and see if that corrects your temp readings:up:

And post your CPU settings. Sounds like a pretty successful setup but the temps do seem a tad unrealistically low considering your temps are reading 3c BELOW ambient. :)

Are you sure you are not just reading the "CPU" temperature?

are you talking about enabling shutdown temp? I don't remember seeing PECI anywhere...

my settings are just 400fsb 8x multi, so 3.2ghz, 1.41v to be stable on CPU...rest stock volts...that's about it.

well there is something wrong, you will never go below ambient with a WC setup, unless your using a waterhiller, which you clearly are not. So there is really no way of knowing what your temps are, they are off, and who knows by how much. They seem unrealistic to me, also what are you using to load the cpu. You mentioned some temps after half hour of gaming, well that is not a good indication of full load. Try downloading Prime95 and running the small FFT torure test, for at least 8 hours, then tell us what the temps are.

Great looking cutout in the case for the rad :) nice job

I use orthos for 2 hours to check load temp. I think I'll find a thermometer somewhere to get an exact ambient. I will tell you this though: my block has no warmth to it at all.

neither does mine...but like 7499richard you can't go below ambient with just plain old watercooling...
