I recently won a couple of bids for two 70W peltiers, spending a total of $8.00 (+6.50S&H ea) to win the bid.

I really wanted three, so I asked the guy over at Thermal Solutions (who holds the majority of listings for pelts on ebay) if I could get another from him, and he said sure, $10.00. I then inquired a bit further and came to find out that he has very attractive everyday prices…so good I thought I share them with the forum.

These are good deals on low wattage pelts that could be good for cooling GPU’s or Chipsets (he did not have any 226Watt units unfortunately.) Here is an excerpt from the email he sent me:

“We don't have a website as yet but we do accept direct sales requests for any quantity from 1 to 10,000 pieces. I've attached a spreadsheet that lists specifications for all of our standard peltier products. We also maintain quick ship inventory for some of the 30mm, 40mm and 50mm devices. Feel free to share this information with your friends.

Here are our direct sale prices for some peltiers that we maintain in quick ship inventory:

Model CP1-12708 (40mm - 72 Watt)
$10.00 each (Qty 1-9 pieces)
$9.00 each (Qty 10-19 pieces)
$8.00 each (Qty 20+ pieces)

Model CP1-12710 (40mm - 85 Watt)
$10.40 each (Qty 1-9 pieces)
$9.40 each (Qty 10-19 pieces)
$8.40 each (Qty 20+ pieces)

Model CP1-12715 (50mm - 130 Watt)
$14.20 each (Qty 1-9 pieces)
$13.10 each (Qty 10-19 pieces)
$12.00 each (Qty 20+ pieces)

Packaging, shipping and handling to any destination in the US is $1.00 per piece.

Best Regards,
Michael Hollander

Now I don’t know this guy (he is up in Jersey I think), but his ebay profile is strong as a vendor (300+ positive experiences, one negative when I looked).

Also he says if you purchase at the prices above, shipping and handling is $1.00 a unit….a far cry better than $6.50.

If you are interested in contacting him his email address is:

MMH40C@aol.com

I hope that this is helpful to the forum members.

Cheers

Good to hear you have had positive experiences with this guy.

As cheap as those 130's are, $90.00 ($15x6 x 130W) and three of these, if they were available, would be sweet! (See pic)

Unfortunately I think the guy that built these had retired.

Cool blocks though.

As it is, looks like I'll be using seven blocks (four in parallel on the cold loop at the chiller, three for the heat there) to cool six pelts instead.

If you count my four ram blocks on the radeon, that means I'll have 14 waterblocks on one system.

Am I totally nucking futs?

Well, then again there is your rig to give us all hope (lol). And one coming down the pipeline, I understand.

I already used the pic. of your room to show my wife how "clean" I am...thanks! :p:
