Hi,

Im and doing some testing with an Abit IB9, boots perfectly under air, no probs at all, however under phase it hangs just after the post screen and therefore I cant go into the bios,
its my theory that the negative temps are being reported wrong i.e. -5 is 250C and therefore the pc wont start.

I have the latest bios, but is there any way around this?

You could look at disabling the temprature monitor ?

There does not seem to be a way.

It says "cpu tempature limit" min 30 max 120

I have disabled the alarm, and any other monitoring nob, but still no joy =(

Can you tell me the actual BIOS heading, and what section it is located under.
and a link to your BIOS please.

Bios heading:
CPU Warning Temperature

(within PC health section)

Bios:

Thanks

I could "disable the setting" via a BIOS mod.

That would be awesome.
