Excellent. Thanks. I want to try something for my first run at WC...so maybe this would be a good choice.

Excellent, thanks eric.......... Eric updated the review to also include updated internal pictures featuring a painted CCFL box to case color, back molex slot is painted to case color, and MUCH tighter flex-wrap used around the CCFL lights. Thank you Eric, for you time and patience, I really appreciate it

Whats a keg?

A keg is usually a round cylinder "container" that for the most part the holds a large consumption of BEER:up:

always wondered that too?? so what does it stand for ??

I named my cooler the "WaterKeg" for the reason being that it is a "container" if you will, that holds a liquid:) . I thought "KEG" would be appropriate...

oh so thats what the mysterious KEG stands for.
btw newls1 since day 1 you presented pics of your waterkeg *external watercooling system* i have admired the quality of those cases that you make, top notch building mate..

the WaterKeg is by far the best / only (if you cant be bothered with time/cost to build your own) external system worth a look. Saw it a few months ago and have pointed alot of people towards it who asked about external kit.
top work newls1 ;)

Hmmm....I really like the finished look of the external system. Very nice.

Could these be rigged with small modification to run 2 in series for added cooling power?

Good idea. Could you make a box that would hold 2 pa120.3's? One for vid cards and one for the rest? I would be down for that.

Nice, I may get that for my p180 since it has limited space.

I like this idea.. all it needs is a set of quick disconnect connectors that do not need to drain in case of movement...

Uh... Might just be me... But I'm scared by the fact that it's zip-ties holding the hoses onto the barbs...

Sorry if I say something wrong.... but look at the CoreTemp pix, I cannot tell if that temp was at loaded or idle stage..... Top one can be @ loaded, bottom can be @idle ..... Need additional screenshots for clarification.

I saw your 1st pix in Liquid Cooling sub-forum .. Must admit that WaterKeg look awesome ... Nice design .... a little big though .. but that's good for cooling big rad.

Wow .. with that big WaterKegIII, who need Full Tower case

Absolutely. I understood it the first time I saw it - because I knew what 'keg' means. ;)

Good work!

I used to run my system without any clamps, zip-ties or anything for about one year. Zip-ties work excellent and is quite secure.

Good morning everyone. Working on several new ideas/plans. HAve been trying to design a plexi-glass / lexan case, plus other design combos. I have my house on the "Market" now, and as soon as I can sell it, that will give me the needed funds to continue with some really good R/D:) I just need everyone to "pray" that I sell this house soon, with the "housing market" the way it is, it is going to be a tough sale:( . Thanks again for all your on going support, and look forward to showing you some future work.
Take Care

awesome name for a piece of equipment :) Zip ties holding the hoses on are fine, you could use metal automotive hose clamps for added security :)

Looks expensive but nice

I would have used 3/8 tube

nice work

alpha1--3\8 tubing in a enclosure that size is pointless. 1\2 ftw!

nice work

alpha1--3\8 tubing in a enclosure that size is pointless. 1\2 ftw!

Care to explain why as there would be no more than ~ 1/2C difference

IF it looks expensive, then I did my job right! That way when a potential customer sees the final price, they are very happy:p: Also, I dont understand why you would use 3/8 tubing:shrug: why induce an added restriction? 1/2 all the way!

The review was a bit brief.
Does the unit come with tubing uncut in order for the length of tubing between waterkeg and blocks to be customised? etc

Where can I get those molex connectors that are framed in a backplate? It also looks like all the fans, pump, light are wired together to a fanbus/junction box. Anyone know where you can buy a fanbus? I've looked everywhere.

hey guys.....Sorry for not returning emails. I had to stop making these as my case builder went out of business. I now have no metal workers in the area so im at a loss right now. I apologize, and being that there really isnt ANY PROFIT to be made in making these, I had to revert and try something else.........In now in school for EMT/Paramedics and I even have my MID_TERMS on Saturday 2/14/09, so im busy about 10 hours a day studying all this stuff. Thanks

25°C difference is a bit too much to my liking, was the TRUE well mounted ? Which fan was used ? Temps taken after how many mins hours of prime or whatever program was used to stress ?
