What do you guys think? i'm going to buy myself a new chip on July 22. but currently going to set this up for a while. been having this setup for almost 2 weeks sweet and cool i guess. using Intel stock cooler. with As5.

i'm currently running pc2 5300 so. i don't think i can push my RAM that hard to OC any further. i tried 428x7 .. 3ghz. but havn't added much voltage to it. i might after buying my AC freezer 7 or Ultra 120.

let me know what you guys think

also i'd like to see if anyone else who have tried to OC with stock Vcore. and i want to know your results please.

Thanks for that eklipze, I have the exact same CPU & type of RAM and I was looking into/researching a starting place to OC my CPU (but my Mobo isn't a "top Overclocker" so I can't easily change the CPU Vcore :().

I'll have a go and report back soonish :)

***Oh and did you change any other Voltages?? & was your RAM in sync with the CPU FSB? (As in @400)

Thanks

nice clock man, and nice temps too, at those speeds i was in the high 50's. Whats the real vcore?
Its hard getting pc4200 - pc5300 much higher on 2.1v good effort :)

I set the Vcore in bios 1.225. 8 hour orthos stable. got pics to prove. .

monkey_man. good luck man! . yes i've only changed the Vdimm voltage to 2.1Vdimm and left the others on auto

thnk solarfall i will once i get some better ram probably. hehe. currently. i'm thinking that. the RAM is holding myself back. no the voltage i put into the cpu

System runs idle after orthos. gonna push it to 3ghz. once i borrow my friend's ram and his ultra 120 HEHE:ROTF: we'll see how this goes. its a L628A batch. shouldn't overclock that bad. hehe
