Sup yall, it after finally getting all of my watercooling parts together and building the rig I finally got it up and running (only after my main PSU died.) I did a leak test for like 48 hours and what not. However I just noticed today that my RAD has a leak/crack at one end of it (opposite side of the inlet and outlet.)

I ordered my RAD through JabTech and it appears that I cannot RMA it to them. And for the life of me I cannot find any info on the Swiftech site for RMA info and or support regarding this (I may just be blind)

Other than the crack/leak my temps arent half bad 55C @ 100% on a 3.3GHZ 6300 with 84F ambient. I know for sure I put too much TIM on and there is still some air in the system......kinda hard to remove it with a crack in the RAD eh? Anyways, any help and or info on where to seek a possible RMA would be greatly appreciated. And I promise once I get this rig FULLY up and running, overclocked, and the vid card volt modded to 1.55V I will post many pics and screenies.

I wish I could, its a very itty bitty crack/leak. And all I have is a camera phone....brb. Gonna try taking a pic.

***EDIT** Bollocks, camera phone cant even get near the detail needed.

Would it not be possible to solder the crack or use chemical metal to plug it?

You don't know how it works, do you? Rigs 'round here are never finished, always a work in progress.

We'll never see 'em

Prolly could, however could this lead to further problems down the road? And the crack appears to be about a 1/4" long give or take a smidge.

Believe me I know lol. There is always something that I want to add/redo. I think my next project will be getting a Lian Li and going from there :D

Super glue will work if its a small leak. If not, then I hope you're handy with the soldering iron. Doesn't Swiftech accept RMA returns on their radiators for 1 year?

JBweld is the best. Home depot has it.

RMA it and save yourself the trouble of wondering if it will leak again with all your hardware in your case.

Try asking on the Swiftech forums (http://www.swiftech.com/forums/). Don't try and repair it yourself until you've heard from them about an RMA, as if you do you'll blow any warranty you may have.

Call them and speak to Michelle or Gabe. Swiftech has excellent customer service. Stop using the radiator and do not solder or glue anything. Get it exchanged. Tell them you are from XtremeSystems.
