I think I overtightened my barbs on my radiator...now I can't get them off! The barbs are almost destroyed with my attempts to get it off.

Help?

Nevermind...after finally destroyed two wrenches, it finally gave.

They are no longer usable though hehe.

Wow, you shouldn't need more than half a turn of a wrench to tighten the barbs. Tightening too much can cause leaks.

LOL seriously. I think I just overtightened them a bit too much.

My plastic ones are coming thursday anyway...I didn't like the brass MIP ones.

My guess is that he's using the wrong barbs on the rad (wrong threads).

Hehe I should of been more clear.

I have a size adjustable wrench and the excessive force broke the knob that holds that specific size in place.
