Take the Green and a Black Wire from PSU #2 and splice green to green and black to black on second PSU.

Be Done.

In case anyone picks this thread on a search. (http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=88976)

The only downside to the performance-pc cable is that it adds resistance to your main psu ATX block.

ps. project looks great.

pps. we've got some similar tools. I've found that a firm hand and a high speed, my jigsaw can cut aluminum angle. Alternatively, if you have some spare board (or plastic), you can invert your jigsaw like so (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v363/navig/Misc/tablesaw_1.jpg), makes cutting aluminum a cinch. Or you could just pony up for a chopsaw.

In what way will the resistance be a problem? Is it possable then to set up a relay to get around this direct connection to reduce the resistance?

Any time you add connectors to a cable, you introduce resistance. Usually not a big deal, but sometimes it can play a role, if you're riding near the edge.

Post#275 (http://www.ocforums.com/showpost.php?p=4982664&postcount=275) in the thread above is how I run 2 psus--as you mention with a relay switch.

you could probably find the adapters on eBay or on here, i know i got one with my stacker, never used it, the reason i bought the stack was it was the only case that would fit my PC&P 1Kw when it first came out

Hey teybar thats one hell of a scary sig!

Just get one of the adapter cables from Performance PC's... the talk about added resistance is rediculous... it's 6" of wire!

The motherboard already has a relay on it for activating the PSU... just use it via one of those adapter cables that splits the relay signal. Why mess with making a custom circuit when everything you need is built-in to the motherboard?
