How long does it take to burn in a cpu and will it be able to handle more aggressive memory timings when its burned in

Usually it takes up to 48 hours to 72 hours of non-stop burning, same thing for the ram

Does SETI@home count as burning?

Yes as long as it uses your cpu all the time then it's ok

I stuck my ram is the freezer for 10mins and then quickly put it in and booted up. I can run faster.......for about 2 mins till it gets warm again and then it hangs...... as for the burn in, i think i won't get any more performance

During the winter months I use a couple dryer ducts and Vantec Tornados to direct cold air to various components and it's always good for a few more MHz FSB. ;)

i'm going to my friends house over the weekend and he has a freezer that goes down to -50c so i'm gonna put my Ti200 in it and see if i can run a full 3dmark 2003 at ti 500 speeds
