D5/MCP655 Mounting ???

Sorry if this might sound like a stupid question guys but I must ask. Would mounting the D5 like in the pictures below have any effect on the pump? The reason for asking is due to the layout of my case and components as it would make mounting much easier.

i have mine mounted upside down

That is fine. That is actually how the DDC works so no problem with it. Just as long as the inlet isn't facing down.

Thanks guys, I really needed to mount it just like the DDC but wanted to make sure that it wouldn't impact the pump in anyway.

I can always count on people in this forum for quick and informative information, thats why I love Xtreme :D

I have temporarily mounted mine like that, because the way I had it mounted before (inlet parallel to the horizontal and outlet pointing downwards), it was prone to accumulate air bubbles on the top of the impeller assembly.

It's been working fine for four days now, and ironically the "maelstrom" in the EK res has gotten better too. Sometimes hydraulics befuddle me.
