They have both physical stores and an electronic store.
I hit up Cambridge/Boston Massachusetts physical store, grabbed the last two there. I then ordered one from their online site, it just showed up five minutes ago. All three have torq-headed screws, are DDC-2TPHP, manufactured 1/2007, are stamped as Danger Den models, and have the orange impellers. The first two have checked out fine in a test, the third (seeing as I just got it) has not been tested yet.

Have fun everyone!

Well, I typed in 999 pumps online and it says that they are in stock rofl...

Are you sure the ones online will be DDC2? There's a danger (no pun intended) that online purchases may lead to DDC3.2s if they run out of DDC2s

I am aware they could start sending DDC-3.2's from online orders, however, the one I received was a DDC-2. That's the riskier option. Check their store locator, if you have one near you, pay them a visit.

Are DDC3.2 so bad? Aren't those the ones that Petra has? So does that mean I shouldn't order the pump from Petras?

Yes, they really are that bad. Yes, those are the ones from Petra's...

Are the 3.2 really that bad? I wouldn't think we know yet. They may have better reliability than a DDC-2. Too early to tell. So even if they are only about as good as a D5 for flow and pressure, with petra's top, they can take any G1/4 barb and they are smaller than a D5. Still might be an OK choice, especially if you run 2 for redundancy.

I'm waiting for Petra or someone to do some comparison testing. Some people are saying that the DCC3.2 is bad. Others are saying it's really bad. A few are even saying it's terrible. I'd like to know, without uncertainty, which is right.

Petra's has the performance graphs for the 3.2 and earlier versions on site.
Look for yourself. Flow is much the same, head is reduced.

FWIW, as of last week Petra still had some DDC-2's and Hank at PPC's said all their DDC stock had torx screws (indicating DDC-2's as well).

maybe PTS does for 'special' friends, but when I called them they didn't have any (I called last week) :(

I'll try PPC though. . .

Great.. :)

For sale.. 10 very used and highly abused DDC2 with red impellers.. ran with 14 volts DC for over a year.. routinely drop kicked and restarted with a hammer. Some stock tops missing lol and some threads stripped :) Due to market demand, auctioning begins at $180 each. Seller's reserved price is $250 each :)

just kidding lol :)

Are you sure? They've claimed to have been out of stock for a very long time. They only have the 9w version of the DDC, but not the 18w for the 2 weeks.

I got the second DDC2 as "backup" but now I wonder if I should not set my pumps up in series..all I will cool is a e6600(maybe a Q6600 but this may have to wait for all the $$$ I just spent), x1900xt cf card and I am going to use a PA120.3
