The fan on my NF7-S chipset just died. Any suggestions for a replacement? It's not heavily overclocked, only to 186 MHz FSB, so I just need something cheap that will get the job done.

Honestly I don't even think it needs active cooling. I was running an NF7-S 2.0 until May, and the fan died in 2005. I never replaced it or noticed any difference. If you're paranoid, grab a Zalman heatsink.

Well, it just started having problems a week ago which I've been trying to troubleshoot. The PSU died, but after replacing it the computer worked fine for a day and then I got a long repeating beep (memory error) which went away after I reseated the RAM. There's no good reason the RAM would need to be reseated since it was just sitting on my desk (running memtest right now, but it's been going for 1 hour and no errors). So that brings me to the motherboard, and after I noticed that the fan on the chipset had died I suspected that overheating might have caused the RAM errors.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I'll order something and hope that fixes it.

Go with the zalman SaFrOut linked to. I ran that on my AN7 for over a year and a half. Get little sink for cheap.
