Does it fit?

Gasket? Shroud? Grill? Fans? Do they also all fit with the Radbox???

The radbox is a 120mm box. There's no way it can fit a 360mm radiator.

???.. everything fits fine here's a pic. I'm not using a shroud because the pa 120.3s don't need it.

Cool picture but do you think you could take one of the back and post it.... also would you think using a shroud would still allow it to fit into the rad box? .... especially with 2 PA 120.3s ??

in that pictures I'm only using 3 fans... you should have no trouble with the shroud. What do you mean by 2 PA 120.3s? are you going to try to use 1 radbox for two rads? if so I would say don't do that. I can't take a picture of that setup anymore because I've taken that loop apart and I'm planning on putting the pa120.3 at the top of my P180.

Well yeah, wouldnt 2 PA120.3s fit into 1 of these rad boxes?

Can you? Yes. Will it hold up to the weight of a PA120.3 plus 6 fans? Absolutely not. I am running a Radbox with a GTS 360 on it, plus 3 38mm fans and 3 25mm fans, and it is just barely holding on. I would try to get someone to make you a metal frame to bolt it in, because the Swiftech one is bound to break off.

So putting 2 PA120.3s w/ shroud and gasket plus 6 total fans is not going to be possible under 1 rad box?

Mounting two radiators to one radbox? I don't think that's possible physically, never mind whether it would hold up or not.

Here's from my old system where I had a PA120.3 mounted to the back of an LL V2100 with 2 Rad boxes.

I have my pa120.3 mounted on the back of my p182 w/ 3 fans and fan shroud with the rad box in question and it is fine... it is very sterdy.

If I am correct the rad boxes are each the size of a square area on the back of my Thermaltake Mozart TX VE1000SWA case which would allow each rad box to mount in those square areas thus attaching the radiators to the back of the case.

I have four of these square 120mm fan mount areas on the back of my case.... well 5 but the 5th one is not next to the group of 4 above it.

Here is a link illustrating this:

http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/product/Chassis/fulltower/Mozarttx/ve1000swa.asp

Take a look at the pictures to the right side...

I know its expensive but 4 rad boxes I think would fit perfectly on the back side of the case to the fans and then to the shrouds with gasket and then to the PA 120.3 radiators.

Im hoping to mount 2 PA 120.3 radiators in a parallel fashion this way... anyone know if this will work?

Get some 3/16th x 5/8th steel strap, cut and bend it to shape. Painted black, it makes strong good looking mounts with as much stand-off distance as you want.
A vice, drill, hammer and hacksaw are all the tools needed.

Thank you sir,

1 question, where do I get the 3/16th x 5/8th steel strap , got a link maybe?

The radbox is a 120mm box. There's no way it can fit a 360mm radiator.

So, when Swiftech says: "The MCB120 Rev2 "Radbox" can support single, dual or triple 120mm radiators.", they're lying, right?

Get a clue...so far, every one of your posts is just FUD and completely incorrect in the "assistance" you've offered.

Hmmmm.......maybe try a Lowe's or Home Depot or Menard's?

oh ofcourse... I just dont normally buy these kinds of things so didnt want to sound stupid when I go there lol... thanks also for the post earlier... you are right... I called swiftech and confirmed with gabe that this thing is not going to cover the entire pa120.3

Since my case has the four 120mm spaces/grill areas on the back Im going to attach 4 rad boxes there which will be used to support the 2 radiators.... or Ill do what was said above.

I'm not sure where you are and my suppliers are in australia but any metal supplier or fabrications shop will have it. It's pretty common.

Here's what I mean.

Oh nice, but does that not vibrate or rattle?

Jedda

No noise or vibration on my brother's workstation I mounted like this. They're rock solid.
Guess you could always toss a rubber washer in on one side.
If I make them again I might join two together and have pairs but it depends on where your fans are going. If the fans are on the mount side joining them isn't on as the strap would overlap the edge.
I just really like the idea that it's got a little more of me in it than just my cheque-book. You can have the clearance you want and you'll get what I mean if you make your own to suit your needs.

thats what you really want......

made in steel.....cheaper than the plastic box from swifty, can hold PA120.3 in whatever way you mount even with just one set, can even be extended if you stack 2 set together.

im not sure if you can get them any more, since that supplier has the last batch from the makers.

i have 6 sets tho.....LOL

and im sure these wont be hard to make at home.....tho.....

Hell yeah, any kid could knock 'em up at school in metal shop.
Get a heavy gauge sheet to start with though, or those would sing a bit in a thin gauge.

hecktic, jedda has his fans on the outside of the rad on pull...
its in one of the thread here.
and also note that vibration will only be noisy when and if there is a loose screw or 2 present.

I heard that you need three RadBoxes to fit a triple radiator.. correct? :D WTF?!? :D

I made mine out of aluminum 3/4" by 1/8" thick. Easier to bend and cut than steel. Very sturdy.
