I'm at 2424mhz, running 1.8 vcore. The syetm temp is 30C, and the CPU temp got to 51C while I was playing BF 1942.

Ambient is like 27-28C.

Also, BF 1942 keeps crashing, but it will run 3dmark 2k1 all night. Would it be because of the temps, they don't seem that high.

which BIOS are you running on your NF7-S V2.0? the 14 BIOS displays temps 10c lower than the other BIOSes. so basically, your temps are ok, if you aren't using the 14 BIOS.

I'm using whatever BIOS came straight from the factory.

How do i find out which one it is?

you can download the Abit FlashMenu here:
http://fae.abit.com.tw/eng/download/dl_flashmenu.htm

you can us the FlashMenu to flash your BIOS from windows, and it will also identify the BIOS version you currently have. just look at the last 2 digits, yours should be 10.

man i wish there was a piece of software which you can run under windows which told you all of your bios settings, that would be tight on my ic7.

No, I was using an slk-900, and a 50cfm fan.

But, I reseated it, and my temps dropped about 5-6C.

temps dont really matter... unless its too high for the cpu but if you are in the 40 to 50 on full load thats preety good for air cooling. Especally in the summer. I remember i was running a p4 @ 69c full load one night this summer.

54°C max with 1.9v 2300mhz and a coolermaster super silent silent hsf (at that temp it wasnt really silent anymore since the fan speed is temp controlled :D)

is your vid card oc'd? if BF1942 keeps crashing, you're not stable....so it's either vid card or cpu....check them out...
