Hey, my rig looks like this:

X² 3800+ (Still needs some tests... something about ~2,8gig)
DFI CFX3200
2x1GB DDR400 CL 3 Kingston Value´s with Samsung UCCC chips.
Sapphire X1900GT Rev 1

So ,i´ve been working on the mem timings the last days but can´t get anything done. The best Setting i had till now was 240mhz @ 2.5-3-3-6-1 (not really stable but it worked... ) with SubT´s someone had posted in a TCCD Thread...

I Bought the board and Ram last week from another user in a german Forum. He reached 300mhz 3-4-4-8 at 2,7v but he can´t find the screenshot with the subT´s anymore ... I would be very pleased iof some of you guys could share some Timings for UCCC with me. Post here or via PM, doesn´t matter.

High regards, Janchu88!

whats about data drive strength and the others?

DDS and DDDS are a tricky thing, so trying some combinations is needed... leave them @ AUTO at first and if you don't find it stable, then you should try from the weaker ones...

leave DDDS @ auto, and start playing with DDS.. you'll surelly find some 2 or 3 that are stable... then test every DDDS with those DDS you found to be stable... fine tuning those always give some extra stability, if not some MHz more.

data strength is dependant on the cpu mem controller max bypass and max work around or w/e those are named lol

He reached 300 with UCCC? that's a world record for UCCC!!!

lol, really? o_O

However...

Hi, i tried your Timings and it´s better now... i have 275mhz Windowsstable and Memtest running fine (made a single run...) But Prime Blend dies after a few seconds, any idea? Time´s too short for great testin now... (it´s 23:30 or 11:30pm in germany.... )

Otherwise my tests will have to wait until tomorrow...

I remeber seeing 305MHz PI 32M stable.... don't know where exactly, but it was on the depths of the bandwidth forum...

Try loosening MAL and RP... just to take the cpu mem controller out of question...

High regards, Janchu88!

I had that board and UCCC mem, all I got it to run at was 260mhz, so 300mhz with UCCC I almost cant believe. And by the way it is a tricky board.

I've got some tools you might want to have, you got msn? If you do it's the easiest way to share files, we'll just open a shared folder. I've got a beta driver for the ULi sata controller that works better than the original and I've got "Tmods bios cd". + that I used a manual that Tony worked out for the board to achieve good mem speed on the board, but the link seemed to be dead http://www.bleedinedgesupport.com/ocz/forum/showthread.php?t=20506 , try to search in http://www.ocztechnologyforum.com/ to get the right manual for the board, it really helped me alot.

Just pm me your msn adress and I'll send you the other things in a shared folder.

And one other thing... I ran it at 2.55V when running 260MHz... not 2.7V like your seller here, this board overvolts RAM by default so don't push it up by any means, it requires more volt from CPU voltage than any other board I've used. Talking about the memory controller here, the memory controller requires more voltage than RAM itself. So you could test giving your cpu more volt and RAM less, worked for me.

ALSO: I ran it at 3-4-4-10 1T I think... if it wasn't 3-4-4-8 1T + I had to switch around many of the other timings, damn that fking link being broken, it was really helpfull. TREF was one very important timing, and CFX3200 has like a million of it. Belive I used one in the low 3k area, there are only three in reality, but CFX3200 has 4,?ns, 7.8ns and 15.6ns broken up in several undertimings. I used one of those those that belongs to 15.6ns, but you can only see this in A64 memtweaker, everest or some other windows tool. Not from bios, so play around with it and see that it has got alot to do with both tweakability and stability. Setting this AUTO will make the board go in slow motion.

hey, thanks for your advices... i´ll try some settings after i have eaten ...

But i have one question left...

What Voltage is UCCC running fine at? Actually i have set Vdimm to 2.8v in Bios...

Sorry, but my last S939 rig was a Venice 3000+ sometime ago.. then i got an ES 6300 in July 06... Since then I didn´t really read and care abot S939 oc íng ;)

I used to run UCCC@280MHz on the CFX3200 and 290 on the DFI Ultra D

anyway to check (besides popping off heatsinks) that mem is UCCC?

Corsair has some supportforum wich contains a list of which IC's the sticks have, but don't know about the others.... besides what you say yourself, POP IT! ;)

for uccc you can run just like tccd low volts, maybe as low as 2.5 or 2.6

Mine went really nice on 2.5V on CFX3200, but my A8N32-SLI DELUXE only go as low as 2.6, kinda disappointing.

wdf? never heard of a "undervolt-limited" mobo  and yea like nature said pop the heat spreaders, i did on this 1gb hz stick i got, it's simple just be firm and steady.

If they are really stuck he might want to use something like a ligher to heat them really carefully up first ;);) CAREFULLY!!!! NO ZIPPO INVOLVED!! :ROTF:

And yes... this board is really strange... lowest vdimm is 2.6
