:confused: hi guys i have just built a new system;

Abit IN9 32-max
Intel E6600
Corsair 1gbx2 XMS2 Pro
ASUS 2900XT
2x Seagate 7200.10
Seasonic S12 600w

I am running Vista home Premium and everything worked fine untill i tried to start OC'ing in bios. All of my bios works fine except for the Uguru utility, Everything between CPU Operating Speed and BN PCIe x16 clock is greyed out and i cannot change anything. PLUS if i try to change anything (basically hitting enter) in uguru the bios freezes and i have to restart.

If i attempt to OC my e6600 using the uguru in windows it crashes at anything above 218x9..
I have a AC Freezer Pro 7 cpu cooler so i dont think its heat (32'c idle).

Having just built the system its highly frustrating i cannot even OC my CPU :(
i have tried finding a thread showing the same problem but there doesnt seem to be one.

If anyone could help i would really appreciate it.

Flash to bios v12...it should fix your freezes.

You mean 318x9? Default for the E6600 is 266x9
