I just made the template for the radiator which I am mounting on the bottom, I will trace it lined up on the bottom of the case then dremel it. I want to modifying the top 80mm fan hole for 120mm but am wondering how I should go about it. Also what mesh can I use for it? I like the mesh people used in the stacker thread but dunno where they got it. The cut out will end up being an octagon like most people do.

this is what I want to do...just need advice

once I mark the case for cutting it's dremel time then clean, sand a bit maybe, then paint.

well I went ahead with cutting that out...

new question, can I remove the PSU cage? Will there be ample support for the PSU still?

You could remove it but it would weaken the case quite a bit as the motherboard tray attaches to it.

There are much easier ways to mount a 240 or 360 radiator into a Stacker.

Check out Watercooling in a CM Stacker 810 (http://www.dangerden.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=21&Itemid=42) by Danger Den

or you could mount a 240 radiator to the base using a CM Stacker Bottom Case Shroud (http://www.coolercases.co.uk/acatalog/Accessories.html#a382) keeping everything neat and tidy (see pic) and no cutting involved.

I think your trying to make life difficult for yourself tbh

case is already cut, have the bottom cut perfectly for my swiftech 320 radiator, top is cut for 120mm fan, I need to either cut part of the PSU cage for fitting the 120mm fan there or remove the cage. I would remove it if it was still strong enough to be supported....

Here is where I am at:

Think I should use the mesh from the back fan and use the metal guard from the HDD fan in the back of the case?

And, should I go with cutting out that top bar on the PSU or can I remove it completely?

Thanks

I say cut out a bit of the psu cage. Maybe try bending out the wall of the psu cage that is underneath your fan-hole there. Its really only a cable reservoir.
