Okay so I've changed my mind on how I'm going to mount my rad in my pc7b. First I thought the top would do well but with the limited space, intake of hot air, and giving up 5.25 bays the losses outweigh the gain. My plan is to have it at the bottom of the case. First I'll remove the HDD rack and put my single HD in the 3.25bays.

The question is will this be a good idea and I am going to be using a Thermochill Pa120.2.

Do u have to screw in the rad from the bottom of the case?

Will I need any anti-vibration between the case and rad? (This will be in pull configuration)

Do u guys think those legs give the case enough elevation for the rad to breathe? http://www.newegg.com/Product/ShowImage.aspx?Image=11-112-099-19.jpg%2c11-112-099-08.jpg%2c11-112-099-09.jpg%2c11-112-099-10.jpg%2c11-112-099-11.jpg%2c11-112-099-12.jpg%2c11-112-099-13.jpg%2c11-112-099-14.jpg%2c11-112-099-15.jpg%2c11-112-099-16.jpg%2c11-112-099-17.jpg%2c11-112-099-18.jpg%2c11-112-099-20.jpg%2c11-112-099-21.jpg&CurImage=11-112-099-13.jpg&Depa=0&Description=LIAN+LI+PC-7B+plus+II+Black+Aluminum+ATX+Mid+Tower+Computer+C ase+-+Retail

Thank You for all the help I have gotten here so far and everything about liquid cooling I've learned from here.

Bottom is the best IMO. You'll just have to raise the legs a little more, at least an inch I think, and its up to you if you want the anti-vibration. Then you can put the pump where the HD Bay is and you are set

where will you put the pump if you put the rad on the bottom? If you go with the thermochill, say goodbye to any access to the bottom of your motherboard.

Hey Gunlance, you are right on that part. The only reason i'm thinking of doing bottom is because i'll have my pc mid-level in the room on top of my desk. I'm afraid i'll be sucking in hot air if I go with the top. I really don't think the thermochill will be in the since I won't be using my hdd rack. The only important stuff down there is the I/O panel cords and IDE slot for the Giga P35 DS3. I won't be using the IDE slot and I/O cords are pretty thin.

I have(had) my rad at the top and in various other configurations. They really didn't change that much. Whether I was pushing air from the case out, or if I was sucking air in from outside. They all resulted in roughly the same temperature.
I somehow managed to shoe horn the Black ICE GTX(really thick rad) in there with 2 38mm fans(still had enough room to use the 2 bottom 5.25 bays), a laing d5, AND managed to keep the HDD cage while keeping the bottom of the motherboard free.

Thx mate. I will stick with top mounting configuration.

Have you considered an external mount?

Mount it at the top still dude!!!

Relocate the PSU to where the OLD HD rack is!

Use the front and rear fans to be the exhuasts as the rad can be your intake!

You can mount HD's in the 5 1/2'' and the other HD rack!

I'll be doing one soon for my misis, 3 loops i'm thinking in there dead easy

Hey MING@S could you post a pic showing the space between the RAD and PSU? I'm thinking on doing the same to this case:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811112116

Which I believe has the same dimensions at the top.

Ming that just made me believe mounting on the top is possible. Thx for the tips aurora but I prefer everything internal.
