Hi Guys,

Have a current problem with my xms4404v1.1’s 2 x 512mb
Dfi expert with 4600x2, cooler SS phase
Bios latest NF4D406
As this memory is now discontinued can it still serviced via RMA?

The reason, I think one stick has failed; the following pics will hopefully advise and point me to a decision, but namely one stick good for 280+ the other wont even run at 200/166. Using orange slots, slot 2 for single testing, mem volt 2.74, raising or lowering voltage makes no difference to stability of the stick, memory cooler buy 2x 60mm fans
Please advise, if more pics or info, please ask, I need to get it sorted

Good stick 280fsb 53 passes no errors

Hi Yellow Beard,

Update,

Still no contact from your colleages with regard to my RMA.

However, the Ups man just delivered a parcel from your factory,

2 sticks of XMS3202v1.2

I have read in ramguy forum, discontinued ram, options 3200, upgrade to ddr2 or money refund to the value of purchased ram,
Please help, will this ram run @ 275+ if yes how

Dave, since they made a change on your memory, please contact RAM GUY through our forum or, customer service directly. Please make your subject line "Corsair RMA" so that it will easily go through our SPAM filter.

Typically they will contact you before making a change like this so please contact them and explain your situation. And, I don't have any of that memory on hand to test so I have no idea if it will run 275mhz.

It's odd like that some times, RMA+shipping will actually get ahead of the notification process. I seen lots of people get their RAM back before they ever got that email.

Again, sorry for the issues. If the RAM is not 100% satisfactory let me know and I'll help any way I can.

RMA Support

Corsair Memory Inc.

Sat back and waited for the supervisor to contact me, alas 2 weeks and no contact: confused:

Am I supposed to go away and be happy that my 4400 memory was replaced with 3200, and no contact with corsair other than your good self trying to help me.

So please YellowBeard bring this to someone’s attention, in order that confidence in the company Corsair is restored.

Dave

ps. I did send a reminder email to Carlos after a week, my system reported that it was read: but no reply

Dave, we seem to have an incorrect phone number on file for you. Also, a CS rep has emailed you. Please get in touch with that rep so we can assist you.

The phone you have is correct, as per the packing slip sent with goods, my mistake though, I didn't give you the full international dialing code,

Phoning the UK
Phoning telephone numbers in the UK is straightforward from most countries. The international dial code for UK is "+44".

Throughout this site we give numbers suitable for long distance dialing within the UK. For example, 01869 123456. To dial this number from outside the UK:

first dial your international access code (contact your local telephone operator for this information)
then dial "44"
don't dial the leading "0" (zero) of the telephone number
dial the rest of the number.
Example: Dialing From the USA
To dial the example Deddington telephone number from the USA (ignoring any long distance access code you may need to use):

01 44 1869 123456

I have sent email to Carlos with this information, it will help him in the future.

cheers Dave
