Max out your voltage and use 2.5, 6,3,3 it should work no problem. Also put some active cooling on your Northbridge.

by 633 Opp do you mean running 158fsb ? I got xms3000 and its a bit of a :banana::banana::banana::banana:ty stick :/
Any recomendations on what is the best ddr ram to get ? Ive got a nice cpu but no memory for it so its either look for a new stick or go the rdram way
EDIT : Oh and I guess to run the xms at any high speeds I would have to use 2.5 - 7 - 3 - 3 ? tried pretty much everything but the ram is the limiting part

how much will active cooling improve performance.

Darius,
The highest my memory will run at 2, 522, is 148 which is 198mhz for the mem. After that it's all about slacking up on the timings.
CSHawkeye81,
Not sure, maybe 10mhz mem speed when doing 200 plus, a simple 60mm fan will do.

hmm Im using the latest official Abit BIOS
using the Enhance Dram performance option (dont know if this does anything) xms3000 256mb stick and to get the ram booting higher than 185mhz I need to drop it to cas 2.5, then I hit the final limit of the ram which is around 196mhz, maybe I just got a bad stick
The cpu Im using isnt too bad though, 2.8 stable @ 1.62 volts and stock intel cooler hehe

Darius,
Your ram most likely needs more voltage. The BD7 has very little of it:D
And useing Enhanced Dram makes the timings a tad more aggressive I think. You won't get as high a clock with it.

Oh I havent found any vmods for it Im not scared to run vdram high i always do hehe ... I believe DDtung is working on your board to get a vmod for the dimms ? Or is there a vmod already ? hehe
On a sidenote I just switched from AMD a few weeks ago and this is my second chip
