Hi,
I have contacted Corsair, through the "Have Questions?" in the website, regarding the possibility of having 8-pin pciexpress cables for the Corsair HX620 PSU. The reply was fast and it was referred that Corsair will provide such cables upon request.... "only" paying the post costs.

To request them I was asked to send an email to: csgmarketing [at]corsairmemory.com. I did that almost ONE MONTH ago but up to now I did not receive any feedback from that email address...

So, I would like to know if any someone from this Corsair support corner could help me on this.

Thanx

If you are in OZ, email Customer Service at the link below. Make the subject line "Corsair" so it won't get caught by the SPAM filter. Tell them you need a PSU cable and they will hook you up. The cable is free, they ask you to pay shipping.

Thanx for your feedback. In fact I am an European customer (I will send you the precise info by pm)...and I do not know if there is any Corsair office in Europe that can handle this.

Yellowbeard, can you check the situation of my request? One month ago I've opened this thread and a few days later I've sent my contact info to you by pm. Up to now, I was never contacted by Corsair

At least an email saying that Corsair would not send such cable to EU customers would be appreciated. ...

Those cables are being sent to the EU/UK regularly so, I can only guess that your request was overlooked somehow. Send me the same email you sent to customer service, via a PM here and I'll forward it again. Just curious, what was your subject line in the email? Our SPAM filter is VERY picky.

The subject in the email to csgmarketing@corsairmemory.com was: "8-pin pcie for HX620"

PM sent with details

Thanx for your attention

Please see post #4 above regarding the SPAM filter. Go ahead and email them again. I will also forward your information internally and let them know your request is more than a month old.

How much is shipping to Canada? I am planning an upgrade soon, but my new HX620 didn't come with any 8 pin PCI-E cables :|

Shipping to India should not be a problem but, I am not certain. Please see post #4 above and contact Customer Service.

Hi Yellowbeard,

I've sent an email quoted "corsair HX620" to corsair to request the PCI-E 8 Pins cable a few days ago so that I can run my 2900Xt on my HX620. There is no reply since then.

I also have a few questions regarding the process. Each HX620 customer is only able to request 1 cable? not two cables for crossfire? Any more details on the HX620 I need to provide to retrieve the cable?

Please see post #4 above for emailing. Also, you will need to ask customer service about your questions.

I had no problems getting my cables. Took a day but did it through email and it went great!
