Just sent in the RMA form for my pair of 2GBHZ "0606", one stick became defective today (tested all possible combinations, and got a memory faulty beep code with the defective stick).

3 questions:

Do I have to RMA them both?
Will I still get a Micron D9 version?
Will I have to RMA to Europe or is there a US distributor?

Did you get them from newegg? If they are DOA you should just RMA them to newegg or the retailer you got them from.

Sorry, they're not DOA, order date was 07/10/2006.

One of the sticks just stopped working.

I'm thinking of getting 2 more sticks though, since they're dirt cheap now :)

1.
You can just rma the bad stick only. But please remember it is always better to replace for two match pair since it tested together.
Sometime your new replacement doesn’t work well with the old stick together. For this we can’t guarantee it.

2.
YES. it is using D9GMH

3.
depends where you live

Just got my 2 sticks back (ended up buying another 2 to cover the downtime, so now I have 4GB).

Great service!
