Best 975board for croosfire 2900xt,Q6600

Hi guys



I got one 2900xt now I need a board that supports crossfire cause Ill be adding a second one soon.Here are the boards im looking at ASUS P5W DH Deluxe,ABIT AW9D-MAX,D975XBX2KR Bad Axe 2 I will also be adding a q6600 when the price drops so I need the mobo that oces quads the best out of these
im leaning towards the badaxe2 but I saw a review with 2900xt in crossfire and the badaxe and the cards are really close.

Yeah, I guess the two slots are close, but I've got one and have really liked it. I would recommend watching what cooling solution you use when using two cards in Crossfire, but even if close, should fit. After all, it was made to do Crossfire. :)

I heard the ASUS P5W DH Deluxe doesnt oce quads very well and has lots of vdroop is this true.

Agreed. I can get my PD950 to post at 5.0 ghz on this thing.

Im gonna order the Badaxe 2 online i will be using a E4300 before i get a qaud i dont know what version of the board ill get should i have any problem booting with the E4300?

no you shouldnt... the Badaxe 2 is nice but my pick would go to the Asus P5K Deluxe.

I would get the P5k Deluxe but the second lane is 4x I dont want to waist the 2900xt power.
