Got a quick question I had my machine overclocked to about 4Ghz (from 3.4) and everything was running great then today i rebooted (not for the first time) and now i cant see two of my three hard drives. I reset everything to stock and i can see them agian. Then i tried overcloacking it again and they were gone (even in the bios) so how do i fix this?

I have it set at 100 should i raise it? if so whats the proper ratio/what to? Also if you cant tell im new at this lol so how does the PCI-E relate to the hardrives I thought they were completely separate components?

100 is what you should leave it at. Your overclock might not be stable at that speed.

There is no set ratio. Trial and error...

hard drives disappearing usually meant your overclock was tearing up the pci bus now a days it's supposed to be locked, however sometimes it dun lock properly. Back off the fsb a bit if the hd's pop back up there you have it. Run some torcher tests while your at it and see if that is stable. Might be a voltage problem as well, check your psu's voltages.
