that should answer your questions.

Can a mod have the guy with the DDC-2 sticky edit his post to include this info? a lot of people have been asking this question. And it would much easier to link to a sticky then have to dig it up.

Hi pete,

Do you convert them the same as a 3.2, by soldering something i the third pin? or something?

Yes, you can mod the DDC-3.1 to the specs of the 18W DDC-3.2... The rev. 3.3 board is actually the only motor control board that I've seen thus far in the blue impellered DDC-3.1/3.2 pumps (keep in mind that the board revision number notes just that, board revision number, not pump model name...I think that's what is causing some of the confusion).

Link to the mod: http://forum.effizienzgurus.de/f23/howto-laing-pro-zur-ultra-umloeten-t1106.html#modifications

YES

I have 6 here that are all running as 18W ones that all are DDC 3.3 pcb, 3.2 version pumps, blue implers and where 10W versions.

All have Petra tops, all the base plastic been modded and thread tapped through it and all on anti vibe mounts and all kick ass and work as they should at the full 18w specs!
testing and info as confusing as his info is due to the eu/us thing (kill the sod that made it all) has told you.

I've told you on 2 forums

You've been given a link by the sodding germans telling you exactly how with photos and words on how to do it

No go and bloody do it or stick the soldering iorn through you eye to end our pain please.

Sorry for this post but silly repeated question like this in the same post really get on my tits
