Has anyone tried DX 8.1b or DX9beta? Does it improve 3DMark2001 scores... I'm about to reinstall Windows and i was wondering if anyone cares for me to try them... Is any one of the two, or both -- worthless?

id be careful, both guys that have used ti dropped 800 or so points, but ima try it also to see if its a system to system issue or just as a DX9 problem..ill post results today as my 2200+ just got in

8.1b is EXACTLY the same as 8.1 its for developers use to sign thats why its not on direct x updates..
