I have a 120.3 plus a mcr220 in the bottom of my case(2 loops) TJ07.
2 DDC2 with petras top.
Storm Rev2 on a Conroe 6700.
Ek:s 8800Gtx Delrin.
Tygon 7/16.
Res. ek:s 150.
Alhpacool HDD
5 yate loon D12SM@5 v
Pentosin G11 and G12

1: loop . pump>cpu>120.3>res
2. loop . pump>hdd>Gpu>mcr220>T-line

My first question is, is it better to run all on one loop?

And my Storm is alone on the 120.3 but still have high temps, loads in on nearly 60 celsius with 1.55v. (core temp with orthos).
Tested with 2 TIM:s *Liquid Pro and AS5*
Liquid pro gave me better temps (5C) but, OMG, was it a pain to work with.
So now i am using AS5. (took me 4 hours to clean the block and cpu from liquid pro :/

the storm is very restrictive, its impigment desgin isnt good for high end, overvolted/clocked dual core CPU

imho 2 loops are better, since u already have all of the itesm and won't pay for anything

for ur cpu's temp, check ur ihs cause it may not be flat and need to be lapped

@perfection

it is good enough and restriction is not a problem since he got a very good pump and the best rad with least possible restriction

Storm rev2 is still one of the best waterblock for a dualcore cpu, it is not good for quad core but dual core with a single die in the center of the pcb the storm is the best

Thanks for fast answers :)

I forgot to mention that my Cpu is lapped.

If i bought a new swiftech GTX, will that improve my temp by much?

Probably yes, as the Storm doesn't work that well on IHS'ed processors.

well, if u really want to get a new block i would suggest the D-Tek fuzion which then u can use it with the vga block in a single loop with the PA120.3 and a pump, then u can sell the MCR220 and the other pump and spend that amount of money on something else , maybe a physics card

well, i want the best temp possible since i am into overclocking :)
But i will probebly get a new block. Fusion or GTX. Is the fatter O-ring packed with GTX so you can bow it, or do you have to buy that separate?

why do u want to bow it when ur cpu is already lapped ?

Does it not matter at all when the cpu is lapped?
Donīt you want the pressure to be at "the core"?

nope
it only matter when the ihs is concave so a bowed waterblock will be able to touch the center but with a lapped cpu a normal block will be the best

I read the exact opposite.
