I used to have a 92 750 katana and sold it due to getting married and i just didnt feel right riding anymore. Now a friend bought an older bike and he said you have to ride it. granted it was nothing special but it put that old itch back in my system. Then i got retarded and rented bikerboyz. And now i need to have a bike. I want a hayabusa no if ands or butts, that is my choice it looks as if i am starting off with a yamaha 650 that my dad picked up from impound in the dealer ship he works at for a mere 200 bucks and it runs. Just needs title/and gas cap and ignition lock. Anyone know if that is expensive since my dad already drilled them out???

The turbocharging pressure normally used is below 1 bar (14.5 psi) which, although modest, enables an engine like that of the SUZUKI GSX 1300R Hayabusa to develop a power of 150 horses at 5000 rpm and over 300 horses at 9000.

If higher levels of power are needed, as for instance in the case of drag racing, by adjusting the turbocharging pressure at 1.4 bars (20.5 psi), the power increments to over 360 bhp.

I want to get a hayabusa...those things are truley FAST AS F*CK! the downside to them are they are 10 grand :owned: and the newer ones come with a restricter on them so you can't go faster then 190MPH....If I do get one I'm going to do some mods to it and see if I can do 200MPH+

ZX-12 vs BUSA (http://ninjazx12r.free.fr/videos/zx12r-hayabusa.wmv) Download it then play it. guess it is suppose to be about 16 min. long.
Great video, of course you can tell what bike I prefer:D

im not into the really fast bikes, all i want is a BMW G650GS or maybe the 1150GS. they are cool cuz they are ok street bikes, but are great for dirt road traveling and a little dirtbiking. plus BMW makes the coolest bikes anyways...hehe.

Come on ... how often do you think you can touch 190 + ???
I race sportbikes full time and it takes years of conditioning to be able to take speeds with massive down force of 160 + mph on any straight.

People think that a bikes power is limited to its top MPH...ITS NOT!!!

You need to develop a mold with your bike and understand your limits.

A Busa is the worst example of a bike... It’s basically the cow of the motorcycle world. Yeah...you can get it to do 200 + MPH and turbo this and that but why??? It’s so heavy and takes inhuman strength to manhandle it anywhere.

I hate when people ask me how fast my bike goes ... bikes in general are....too fast! We will never utilize most bikes 70% of their capabilities.

Bikes are cool but sometimes people just have some really bad pre-conceived notions about them.

Of course you will never really be able to see the bikes rull potential on the streets :p:

And it dosn't take any sort of "conditioning" to go fast.

I'm only 16 and I have gone 180MPH already....granted not on the streets...but going 180 on the salt flats on a motercycle is a rush :) So go stick that up yo ass:bananal: :ROTF:

Also I still plan on getting that hayabusa:D

Granted you can't go 190+ very many places (safely that is):D but my 2000, which is the last year the big 4 made their liter+ bikes without the 186 MPH limit, has no problem getting up to 150 - 160 on a regular basis. A week or so after the breakin, I hammered it on the freeway for a couple of gears, and before the next onramp I was at a comfortable 180 and still pulling hard. The ZX-12 was amazingly ROCK STEADY!!!
As far as the 190 restrictor, it's a 186
restricter as you put it and on the new GPZ 1000 it was easily fixed or eliminated with a electronic module that is similar to the Power Commander. I am not sure, but it might of been a secondary module that goes with the computer upgrade module, but either way it is easily taken care of.
I know that on the 12, all that is needed on my model to obtain the Official 199+ MPH Certificate (http://www.zx-12r.org/Motorcycle_info/Motorcycle%20pictures/ZX-12_199MPH_Speed_certificate.jpg) is a pipe and removing the Mirrors.

Bring your busa to the track and watch how many 600s eat it.

Go straight all you want and as fast as you want... just let me know when you put that pig down in a corner cause I need a drag strip bike.

yes...the only thing the busa can do is go straight.

Throw nibbleness and handleing out of the window and in my opinion...style too.

Ride a bike is more that just going in a straight line, anybody can do that...just twist your wrist and tuck in.

Very true. They are just a street legal drag bike. But, they are best at it.
The last time we went to the drag busa's took every win. And they had some tough competition.

I see people complain about the busa and manhandling it well i wont buy a 600. I am 6'1 and 265pds I am not gonna buy a bike like a 600 that when cornering i am gonna throw in a ditch.. I like a good heavy bike that can handle my weight and that i can still throw into curves. I rode a 600 once and when i cornered i about went ditch side, didnt compare to my 750....SOOOO I say long live the cow of motorcycles!!!!!!!!!!
