i added a small fan to the nb heatsink on my 8rda+ and wanted to check if it helps me to oc any higher. i upped the fsb to 205 and ran sandra memory and only got 2990. thats with cl2 3 3 5

so i set the fsb back to 200 and did the bench again and got about 2980

i know that i used to get 3000+ with 200 mhz cl2 3 3 5... i have screenshots of it, but now i need 210 to get there... wtf?

i almost see no improvement upping the fsb, how can 5mhz fsb only increase my bandwidth score by 10mb/s? thats really really low

i installed the nforce driver and sandra again... no difference.
ill try a fresh windows install, hope that helps. my pc needs only 20sec or so to boot, but i have to wait for 1:30sec before i can do anything in windows.

any idears why im scoring so low? its twinmos 3700 so 2 2 2 is a no go, and the cycle length doesnt seem to change anything at all. i get exactly the same score with 3 4 5 6 7 and 8.

i also noticed that there is only a 10mb/s difference between cl2 and cl2.5... is that normal?

Do you still have same bios?

PCMARK2k2 gives alot nicer difference in memory results I think.
