I have to say that the mosfet cooling looks amazing... (yes, I have searched, I found the GTS thread, would like more input)

wow, that is a beautiful block. Wish i could read german so i could look at that forum!

SolarFall: unpon looking at those i thought they were just more like tubes for water rather than heatpipes?

in this pic it looked like there might be some sort of heat pipe contraption in the block.. check it out. it look bit like there is heat pipe sticking out from mosfet part.. maybe its nothing

Actually, looking at that you might be right, they do look like the ends of heatpipes sticking out the copper. it would seem a bit stupid to have any water pipes blocked off like that

its looks hot and i gues it will have good flow seeing water will only go over the GPU.

not to positive about the internals.
but id love to see a review wich tests temps and compairs the temps to other fullcover block and GPU only blocks (cause basicly this is a GPU only block)

the only bit i dislike is the mounting pins.
the stick out on both ends.
a pic in the thread shows that the pins r so long that a user had to remove the hold down clip of a ram slot so the card+cooler would fit.

I read about this block a couple of months ago the tubes are steel and i'm pretty sure they carry water. Strange that i've never seen anyone using one.

Confirmed the pipes are steel they carry water and are sealed by O rings.

Nope its made full of cooper and that material isnt cheap. Well the other Ascpect its made in Germany so you have to pay for this too.
But this facts dosnt matter for me i prefer EK Waterblocks

... and Swiftech/D-TeK ;). anyway, it needs reviews to prove so high price.

IMO it looks awfull, EK's look way better.

And the design with the water carrying pipes looks flow-killing to me.

yes, but i think it has less weight than fullcover EK waterblocks, though it's very important...

those pipes can't carry water as it looks like its blocked off at the sides

ya i think they are heatpipes to transfer heat from the small block to the main block which is watercooled

i do like the look of this block

Damn that block looks like its a solid performer, but that needs to be confirmed by a test. Too bad we can't get it over here in america.
