Hi,

I've played it and i must say... It ROOOX :D:D It isn't very similar to TR Legend but very similar to previously parts. Graphs isn't as good as i though but i think isn't bad. Hey added blur (in TRL wasn't with blur)

I have one problem - when i play on 1024x768 i have max fps 85, on 1280... i have max fps 60 :| it's sick... Maybe some problem with my nv drivers ?

The game runs very good on max resolution (1280x960) AAx8, ANIZOx16 and High details. but.... i want a next genn :(((... Maybe we must wait for TRL 2 for next gen :P

If we talking about gamepley in Anniversary it is quite well.. I was playing only 15 minutes but i'm impressed. I've made few scrns for you:

Sory for res of screens. My crt sucks and when i want play on 85 Hz i must use 1024x768 :/ :/

EDIT:::
I had to change something in register because i couldn't turn on shadows in game but now it works. Scrns are without shadows :)

Sounds like V-Sync is enabled.

Search for refresh rate override driver hack.
Or send me PM with your email - I'll send you that registry key. No need to sacrifice Vsync. :)

Ok. i turned off Vsync in NV drivers and now i have 200fps ;] but tell me... what's the diffrence between game with vsync and without it ? I've made 2 screens. First with vsync and second without and i don't see any difrences.

All vsync does is limit your MAX fps to your refresh rate. Without it some older games may run 'too fast' and with modern LCD monitors "ripping" or picture tearing is sometimes noticeable with vsync off because the game's fps goes over the refresh rate and let's say the game is at 90 fps, but the lcd monitor is 60Hz, so the picture starts to get rendered half-way on the screen, causing a "ripping" or "tearing" effect. This is not the case for CRTs. AFAIK

However, turning the vsync on sometimes leads to reduced performance since the video card is unable to 'render ahead' of the limited frames.

Wiki:

Vertical synchronization (v-sync) refers generally to the synchronization of an event with the vertical blanking interval. Generally video displays are refreshed sequentially and on older CRT based displays, a short delay is required between updating the lowest horizontal line of the display and returning to refresh the highest. This delay, which is preserved by more modern display equipment, gives an opportunity in computer graphics to alter the contents of a framebuffer without visible graphical errors such as partially redrawn graphics or page tearing (when the top part of the display shows part of one frame and the bottom part shows of another).

Computer games often allow vertical synchronization as an option, but is sometimes disabled because it has the effect of limiting frame rates to the monitor's refresh rate frequency.

you dont need it, but its nice to have it.
personally, I dont even bother playing a game without it anymore.
video tearing is far too common without it.
stalker being one of the worst for it, in recent games.

however, TR:Anniversary, is turning out to be one fun game.
I loved legends, and this ones turning out pretty cool too.

(I am barely a TR fan, as I hated every TR game before it)

holy jebus this game is ugly! has anyone checked the demo yet?

it looks like legend with all the "next generation content" turned off! so you dont have the normal mapping and the extensive shadowing like in TRL :(

the full press version also doesnt have the nice looks. i just hope the retail version will!
