The Ti4200s can be bought for just under £100

you also have the 9000, 9100 (or a 8500) and 9200

GeForce 3s can also be bought for this prices.

I say go with a 4200.. Sure they may seem old but OC well and new DX9 games really aren't out yet anyway. Even then you'll be OK..

4200 is faster than a 9200 when overclocked both then? hmm

i would imagine 9200s overclock very well too just like a 2.4c will do 3ghz no problem. and afaik ati has much faster memory on these radeons than the nvidia cards, unless thats been changed in these 9200s.

Futuremark top 10 cards, looks like the 4200 is the card to go for... Doesnt mr. icee have 19k with one? Bet you cant get close to that...
top 4200 score (http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=6583662) the top 9600 is only 15k-ish, theres no entries for a 9200 and im not entirely clear about ati's labeling strategy...
