Well just did fresh install of windows xp2 loaded up the nvidia chipset drivers, sound drivers off the cd supplied, and latest drivers from Nvidia for 8800GTS 320mb. Game starts up then 10secs-30 secs later i get a BsOD and restart. I'm using a new Q6600 at stock speeds. It cant be my memory (4gigs of Patriot Xtreme 6400) I've been using it and this same 8800GTS playing Lineage2 for 5 weeks with no problems on my Asus p532-e SLI motherboard with a e6600 overclocked to 3.2ghz.
I didnt get to play much with it but i was able to run through 3d mark 06 with no bsod's. I'm guessing it might be a sound driver issue? I'm also running Thermaltake toughpower 1000w now were on the Asus p532-e sli I was running a Antec trupower 650w. Like i said can't be the memory or the 8800GTS was working perfectly fine on the Asus.
Ram timings are correct also in bios at 5-5-5-12 2T 800mhz 2.0v..
