I ask because I can get my mits on the following: -

GeilĀ® 1.0GB PC3500 Dual Channel DDR Kit (2x512MB) 433MHz (4.5ns Cas 2 6-3-3 1T) +copper heat spreader

for Ā£150 exc VAT compared to the Ā£169 exc VAT for a the Corsair TwinX PC3200 1GB.

I would like a GB of RAM for uni as I cam going to be doing Computer Science so I want as much RAM as possible for compiling etc :)

Be paired with the new Springdale Shuttle and either 2.6GHz/2.8GHz/3.0GHz 800FSB PIV (which ever works most cost effective) processor

I'm running the GeIL 3700 Platinum 512 x 2 @427 (5/4) 2,5,3,2.... I expect soon to run even tighter. I wouldn't trade these for any other memory at this point. :p:

Yes, me :)
I'm running it @2,9V on my abit nf7-s. And it does 230mhz, next vacation i'll do a Vmod. So then i'll check it @3V (or higher). I don't know what's holding me back, it could also be the chipset. So i'll also do a Vdimm mod and check that out :) (it are two 512 sticks in dual channel)

I've got a pretty bad 3.0/800...It won't go beyond 3.992Ghz stable! Still the memory at that speed is 3203/3148 unbuffered...so it's ok for now! :)

P4 2.4c Vapochill PE, i keep it @ 300fsb 5:4, Max it will go is 315 fsb with a Abit IS7-e mb. 2 sticks of 3500 platinum geil
2 wd raptors. I can hit 6400 max in sisoft. board Vmem modded. only using 2.95 volts though to the memory. 9700 pro with swiftech MCW-50t, stock 80 watt pelt, 6x6 radiator for the pelt, mounted in the top back of the vapo.

Gonna try a IC7 in it tuesday when the board comes.

I just picked up 2 sticks of kingston hyperx 3500 512's from Bestbuy $99 each. wont do over 220fsb 1:1. not happy with it.

Going in a customers computer and i figured $250 for 1 gig of memory for it so i still made out. no loss.
