Lcd's

I know nothing about lcd's, and i need one for college. i am looking to spen about $400 and i plan to do a good bit of gaming (georgia tech, you can't help but game there :D). Any suggestions are welcome.

the new Hitachi or NEC 17". they have 16ms response time. good for gaming (for TFT at least)

I just bought that at dell.com yesterday for $380 with dvi outputs :D :D :D AMAZING DEAL!!!!
