4gb with Vista ?

At the max I could get 3.5 Gb's and I understand that I need 64 to get it to support the full 4gb . I was wondering will a regular person that runs ;

My System Consists of the Following

(2) Opterons Duo Core (4 Processors) 2.8GHZ
(4) 1GB's of DDR2 800

Games ; BF2, Oblivion , ETC
Photoshop
Web Browsing
Light Video Editing

Nothing more, no server stuff etc.
Just a regular computer will I ever need more ram ??
and will it ever limit anything .

Gaming and video editing deserve...not necessarily need 2GB of RAM. Windows Vista needs 1gb just to install...but to run efficiently it actually needs 2gb. If I were you I would definitely try to run 2gb (2 x 1gb matching sticks) of dual channel RAM in that rig if possible.
