Hi I’m new to this forum and I’ve been looking around for some help but I couldn’t find what I’m looking for. I’ve got an Asus a8n32-sli deluxe, fx-60, VapoChill micro extreme, two BFG 7900gt in SLI, and I have two sets of ram(I only use one set at a time), first I got a set of Corsair twinx2048-3500llpro which I could O/C to about 2.86 GHz (and still be stable (this was my first time O/Cing )). I wanted to try to get more out of my system so I got a set of Patriot Extreme 2 x 1gb pc4000 500Mhz. To get my FSB up to 250 MHz I had to put my multiplier down to 11.5 and I put a 450ms delay (I think) on my ram to make it work. It did work at 2.875 GHz but it ran really hot I think about 70۫. So I was wondering what I should do to get the most out of it. I have the latest bios also, and I know all my ram is good, I use memtest 86. Please help me set up my bios (tell me how to set it up). Thanks!!!:slapass:

hi devo, welcome to XS :toast:
can you post details of your bios settings? especially voltages and ram settings. it could be your cpu already hit max on air or you can try lowering the divider coz your memory controller might not like your settings right now.
anyway 70C on an A64 is too high for air cooling, you should keep it to arround 50ish full load.
