Hi
I'm new to this forum and find it extremely helpful and informative.
I have a concern with my rig I'm hoping someone could help me with.
What happens is that after POST and going the Windows Welcome screen and at finally getting to the desktop (when the taskbar comes up)... on occassion a screechish sounding long beep will scream out.
This doesn't seem to affect any performance but is of concern.
This doesn't happen all the time only every so often.
I understand BIOS beep codes at POST when an error is detected but this system makes it through POST quite OK.

Intel D875PBZ
P4 3.4 478 pin
Twin raptors in RAID/0
etc, etc

this rig is only 6 months old :)
ps D975XBX2 rig is in the process of construction bit by bit as the funds become available :slobber:
